First prize awarded to Riccardo Torosantucci for oral presentation at GPEN conference

Riccardo Torosantucci has won the first prize for his oral presentation during the ninth biennial meeting of the Globalization of Pharmaceutics Education Network (GPEN), which was held from 28 Nov – 1 Dec 2012 at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. The meeting was attended by about 270 participants: PhD students, postdocs and staff members from the participating universities as well as several scientists from industry. The title of Riccardo’s presentation was “Chemical modifications in aggregates of recombinant human insulin induced by metal-catalyzed oxidation: covalent cross-linking via Michael addition to tyrosine oxidation products”.
